Hybrid spraying is an emerging technique combining the conventional spraying of dry powders and the innovative technique of spraying liquids. The prospect of delicate tailoring of microstructure and functionality of the traditional coatings by the incorporation of fine liquid‑based splats brought attention to this unusual spraying concept.
The WSP‑H torch is particularly suitable to handle this new concept providing its long plasma jet and high enthalpy capable to process both feedstocks using high feed rates.
